JB Faulkner

Originally from northern Ontario, I have worked in various areas of aesthetic design and management since 2004 in the US and Canada.
While based in Colorado working for such prominent fashion companies as Ralph Lauren and J. Crew, corporate noticed my natural flair and keen eye for aesthetics. They quickly promoted me to their Corporate Traveling Visual Teams and an exciting chapter of creativity started.
I traveled extensively throughout Colorado, California, New York, Florida and Texas, assisting corporate with creative visual designs for merchandising, holiday floor sets and national window displays.
J. Crew eventually transferred me to Toronto to launch their luxury brand in Canada. I opened their first Canadian store in Yorkdale Toronto, overseeing visual merchandising, hiring, training the new teams at all stores, payroll, scheduling, replenishment…etc.
My visual creativity and management efforts helped make J. Crew’s first Canadian store at Yorkdale more than double their opening sales record of any of their stores in North America.
I continued assisting the successful national expansion of J. Crew stores throughout Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.
During my years in corporate visual, I have catered to high end and celebrity clientele such as; Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver, Paris Hilton, Kyle Richards…etc.). As well, I have worked alongside stylists for film, television and magazines, such as USA Network, Aspen Magazine and Aspen Peak Magazine.
After over a decade working with corporate design, I moved back to my roots in northern Ontario and worked in various areas of construction with JL Builders.
Currently based in Sault Ste. Marie, I am thrilled to share my passion for all things beautiful with JB Designs, and adding an extraordinary style to your residential and commercial projects.
